    Login issues

    Dear friends,

    I tried many password combinations including numeric and alphanumeric for member registration.
    But it always showing message

    "Password length minimum: 7. Non-alphanumeric characters required: 1."

    How it should be solved.

    Expecting  a reply.

    Thanks for all.

    Re: Login issues

    Hi,

    All you need to do is edit the following portion inside your web.config to change the password options for the Membership provider for your web site

    <membership defaultProvider="MySqlMembershipProvider" userIsOnlineTimeWindow="15">
       <providers>
        <clear/>
        <add name="MySqlMembershipProvider" type="System.Web.Security.SqlMembershipProvider, System.Web, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a" connectionStringName="ASPNET" enablePasswordRetrieval="false" enablePasswordReset="true" requiresQuestionAndAnswer="false" applicationName="/web" requiresUniqueEmail="true" passwordFormat="Hashed" maxInvalidPasswordAttempts="5" passwordAttemptWindow="10" passwordStrengthRegularExpression="" minRequiredNonalphanumericCharacters="0" minRequiredPasswordLength="3"/>
       </providers>
      </membership>
